“The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!……

“It was difficult to get into the room with two tricky combination locks. You can't watch any TV unless you know your streaming service passwords, no free TV. The coffee machine was plugged in but we couldn't figure out how to work it (no instructions available to read). The mattress was excellent and we slept well. Some might not like the train horns, but we didn't mind.”

“Loved this house and the quiet respite in the woods. It is a bit far from the village, but so lovely. Spacious suites are comfortable and bathroom is beautiful. The bed was wonderful. The staff was kind and gracious. Will visit again!”

“I used to stay in it when it was the holiday house which was a purely 50s motel. it’s been bought and refurbished and renamed the brooks. The rooms are still not very big but the beds are comfortable and I don’t spend a lot of time at the hotel when I’m in Hillsdale. there was a coffee maker that made delicious coffee and there is room for my small dog and his crate. The water pressure was good too, so I would say this place handles the basics well and is very centrally located especially for……

“The breakfast every morning was wonderful with a great variety to choose from. The staff couldn’t be any more friendly, accommodating, and welcoming! The pool looked very inviting, however it was too cool out and or raining. Hopefully next time… there will definitely be a next time!”

“Interesting and eclectic camping with many fun and unique features. Mini golf, volleyball, full size Monopoly games to name a few. Tents are great with comfy beds (I slept great), mini fridges and Roku TV. And they stand up well to heavy rain (we had a downpour overnight) with no leaks. Warm shower with towels, 2 bathrooms w sinks. Campsites have fire pits with firewood and Appalachian chairs. And they have BBQs too. The Zen Den is well stocked with food. Location is excellent. Close to town……

“Great location close to Warner Theater and downtown. Extremely easy to check in, even at night in the dark. Rooms were clean, beds were soft and comfy, everything smelled fresh and clean.”
