Shelburne Chalets

When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! The Pinkham house, basically an apartment over the office, was very clean, roomy and had everything we needed and then some. One of the nicest hotel rooms ever. Larger room than most. Great decor. Quality furniture and cabinets. Wood trim and doors properly painted - not rolled on for quick job. Two glasses in the bathroom for guests. Dimmer switch in bath that allowed to use as nightlight. Thermostat controlled AC - NOT through the wall noisy hotel unit. Large shower. Clean new construction- but solid quality build! So wonderful and appreciated!

Hotel was great but when we went to check n they told me the reservations where for July 2-3. Everything had should June 2-3,

This property is perfect for an adult only weekend. The restaurant on property was amazing and the service exceeded expectations!

The place is just a really nice, classic motor lodge. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. They were also really helpful - switching dates when I accidentally booked the wrong date. And they have EV charging onsite! Great place and great price.

Amazing is a good word for it. Friendly check in, marvelous guest lounge with cooking facilities, free coffee, tea, cocoa, couple hundred books, lots of land all around including woods(good for walking dog), comfortable roomand beds, microwave and frig real helpful to those who prefer, like us, eating in, All in all, it will be our go to place for future trips to visit Maine cousins!

The lodge was extremely clean and the staff were super friendly! Breakfast had many options.

The staff and accommodations were excellent, but there is no “face covering-required” sign at the lobby door and not only did four maskless people walk in but another sneezed all over the breakfast area.

This was my third stay at this hotel. It's a perfect place to do an overnight if you're interested in going to the falls in the area. The outdoor pool is huge, the hot tub is right next to the pool and large enough to feel like you aren't rubbing elbows with strangers, the ski hill and lift are in the back drop and there is a bar poolside for those who want a drink (I don't drink so I can't attest to the quality of drinks). Slow season so not all activities or restaurants were available but the trade off was how peaceful it was. The views are majestic everywhere you turn. The food was excellent and every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. When we mentioned it was our 25th wedding anniversary, there were some treats with a card delivered to our room.

Had a very relaxing time there. Food and service could not have been better.
