The staff were all very friendly and accommodating from the start! The historic hotel has been completed remodeled and is flawlessly gorgeous!! The rooms were very light, modern and comfortable. The king bed was great and the walk in showers was wonderful with perfect water temps and pressure. In room safe and mini fridge were an added bonus! The outdoor pool was small, but lovely with a wading deck on one side with several in-pool lounging chairs to beat the heat! Within easy walking distance of the aquarium ( next door), as well as several good restaurants: Half Shell Oyster House, Tony’s Brick Oven Pizza and the Downtowner Diner. There were several other restaurants and bars in that immediate area that we did not get to this time. Lovely views from our 6th floor room. The hotel even offered free drink tokens that we could use for either bar drinks or coffees at several places in the hotel. We really were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and will definitely stay here again!!
