I can tell these used to be apartments. We rented a room that had 2 queen size beds and 2 twin beds. The layout was indeed spacious. It had a full kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, full refridgerator), the beds were not horrible (firm), clean. The property was not in a bad area of Spokane, quiet on the property. I will definitely go through them again with myself and my kids. The breakfast was basic (muffin, granola bar, hot cocoa, juice, water, coffee, oatmeal). I assume the battery had been stolen. I informed the front desk. The desk manager shrugged and stated he did not have a battery. I stated I will not stay in a room without a working smoke detector. He shrugged again. I asked for a refund. He informed me that because I had booked on Expedia I needed to contact them for a refund. When I contacted Expedia they offered only a $50 refund on a total of $90.75\. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. Additional information on the hotel. Stay at your own risk. There was trash outside in bags and boxes, When I first went into the room a window was wide open and it was below 30 degrees outside. Probably trying to rid the room of a smell, I do not know. The neighborhood looks unsafe in my opinion.
