“Located about 45 minutes to the summit area of Haleakalā and about 2 hours from the Kipahula area. Good centralized location to visit all areas of Maui. I chose this property because of closeness to Haleakala. Unfortunately, the park was closed during our stay. This gave us time to visit all 4 regions oh Maui! All beautiful! This property is well maintained and just what we were looking for. Comfortable, clean and good value. Bedrooms are small, but adequate with mini frig in room. Beds……

“The pictures of Haiku #2 are greatly misleading. It shows a lovely living area with comfortable furniture. What we found instead was only a loveseat. There were no chairs, unless we wanted to use a dining chair. The living room space was cavernous with only the loveseat and a small coffee table. The bathroom shows a double sink; the unit has a simgle sink. In the property description it says there is a queen size bed, but what's actually there is a full bed. A queen size would never have even……

“100% a budget stay. Directly next to public housing. The room was very musty. Thin walls. No phone service and weak Wi-Fi that didn't work every night. Roosters will crow right outside your door at any time day or night. And my floor had gross brown spots that looked like chocolate or poop.”

“We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed while still being quiet and relaxing. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!”

“Property isn’t as nice as advertised. Very dirty when we arrived. No communication from staff during storm, no resources offered when we had no water/electricity. Asked for partial refund and received no response. Would not come back here or recommend!”

“Clean room, easy check in process, great property with great pool and little beach area to see turtles. We were on the third floor and had to carry all our suitcases up the flights of stairs but being able to see the whales off the Lanai every morning was worth it ”

“The place was very clean. The staff was very communicative and accommodating. I stayed Wednesday-Sunday and I extended my stay 1 night which was very fast and easy. They left us chairs and towels which was very nice for the beach. The place was very spacious for 2 people. If you want to cook this has plenty of counter space. The balcony had a partial ocean view which was very nice. Great value for your money. Check in/out was very easy. You can walk right to the best beaches around. Only Cons……
