Beauty and Tranquility

The Glass House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house itself is cozy and is stocked with the necessities. Easy check-in/check-out process and great communication from the host. The property around the house is incredible, plenty of walking trails to enjoy. It feels like your own private wildlife sanctuary. Perfect location if you enjoy birding and wildlife.

Perfect escape - stunning setting

The perfect place to relax and enjoy quiet beauty. The kids loved the puzzles, I enjoyed the sunset and the sounds of Barred Owls. We’ll be back.

Beautiful Home and Property

Wilderness

Great location for seeing wildlife. We were even lucky enough to see a bobcat. Property was well off the road and seemed like you were living on "Little House on the Prairie." House was exactly as described, and we couldn't have asked for a better location to see House on the Rock and Cave of the Mounds. Enjoyed are family time together and will definitely be back.

Blending family getaway

Perfect place for a family getaway - two busy working parents, our combined four kids. Peaceful, but easy access to local towns for what we needed. Barbara was responsive and we loved the home. Truly a little oasis!

Christmas Getaway

Perfect Retreat Setting – Beautiful and Well-Appointed

Awesome weekend for a reunion with friends

Spring Green was a great halfway point for meeting up with friends. Three couples shared this beautiful house for a low key weekend. This unique property had everything we were looking for. The house is well-maintained, was fully stocked (especially the kitchen), and offers a spacious layout. The setting is beautiful. Barbara was a wonderful host.

Lovely Weekend at the Glass House!

Long time women friends enjoyed our weekend at the Glass House. The driftless area of WI is beautiful. We had great sunny fall weather. It only rained at night. We chose to stay at the house for dinner both Friday and Saturday nights and sat on the deck and took in the gorgeous view, yakked, watched a movie, lounged. Very comfortable, beautiful home. I’d love to return in the winter!

Stunning views of Wi bluffs surrounded by prairie grassland.

Evening night sky filled with view of the constellations and bright stars. Comfortable large outdoor spaces on multiple decks with plenty of seating and entertaining Incredible outdoor views can also be seen from indoor living space.

A beautiful oasis

Our group of three loved everything about this home. We came for American Players Theatre but the Glass House was truly the highlight of our trip. If you are looking to book in the Spring Green area, don’t pass up the opportunity to stay at this beautiful, one-of-a-kind property!

Lovely, quiet house and acreage

We ( three friends) really enjoyed our stay here. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and the house is spacious. We loved the many windows and the beautiful views. Drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and watching and listening to the plentiful birds was a treat. The house is convenient to Talesien and other Frank Lloyd Wright attractions. I highly recommend this place to stay!

Charming home with a beautiful country setting

My friends and I loved staying in this unique home in the countryside close to House on the Rocks and Taliesin. Its walls of glass doors allowed a wonderful view of the meadow and sunsets. The home was well stocked with kitchen, linens and bathroom amenities! We appreciated the helpful information left by the host.

Respite in APT Land

We four adults (college friends from long ago) stayed 3 nights in this beautiful home with inviting grounds. We saw 5 plays at APT in 3 days, and we can't wait to come back for more next year. The house is stocked with thoughtful amenities. Highly recommend this lovely place to land in APT Land.

APT weekend, almost

We booked in anticipation of seeing a couple of APT productions. The weekend was uncomfortably hot for outdoor theater. Fortunately, the Glass House was fantastic. A very comfortable, beautiful home located in a gorgeous setting. The view from the back deck was stunning . We hope to stay here again.

Perfect House tucked away in Nature

Beautiful natural landscapes winding their way to the house. Upon arrival was taken in by the unique style home and scenic views. Outstanding place to stay. Host was very communicative and made out stay easy with all the directions and suggestions about the property and surrounding area.

Play date

Property is perfect for American Players Theatre productions. It is spacious, comfortable inside and out. Surrounding grounds are beautiful, full of wild flowers, quiet, scenic, with walkable paths leading to a stunning overlook. We have absolutely no negative comments at all.

Beautiful prairie flowers

Fantastic views of the wooded hills and prairie wildflowers through window. Great place for friends to join us for birthday party—kitchen well supplied with serving dishes, the deck was roomy and comfortable, and interior rooms were likewise beautiful and comfortable. Enjoyed the paths for short paths
