“Firstly to say how helpful,kind and friendly Kit is. She really goes out of her way to ensure you have the best experience possible. The property is in an ideal location with easy access to Charleston and Folly beach - although would definitely recommend you have a car. The neighbourhood is quiet and lovely , and there's a reasonable bar and restaurant at the top of the road. The accommodation was good, clean, comfortable, well stocked. “This cottage is a hidden gem among the typical looming new structures on the island. Morning coffee (bring your own or get some at the nearby Harris Teeter store) was lovely at the front deck cafe table or in the screened porch. The beach is a very short 2 block walk. Although we ate out for all our meals, the kitchen was well stocked with baking, cooking, and grilling necessities. “I was visiting my son for the holidays and needed a place to stay. This house was perfect. Loved walking around the yard looking at the plants or sitting outside on the covered patio. The house was decorated for Christmas. It was well-stocked for me to cook meals. The host communicates quickly. There is a guest book with recommendations. The host even offered a bottle of wine! Great host. Darling place. I enjoyed my stay.”

It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. “We had such an amazing time at this property, the photos of the house are exactly as pictured. The pool & beach views are incredible and the home is clean, with a ton of space for a friends or couple weekend or a family trip. We did not want to leave!!! However the only reason for the low rating is the rental company associated with this property was beyond rude and difficult.
