“Rooms looked and smelled clean. Sheets and towels were bright white and smelled freshly laundered. Property managers were cordial, easy to get ahold of, and accommodating. There is a small fire pit near the rooms, and there are grilling options available if you want to go that route. It is right on the outside of Hill City and an easy drive to Rapid City, Custer, and Keystone. We will DEFINITELY stay here again! ”

“Overall based on our experience this was one of our best reservations in last 4 years. No issues, we highly recommend and if have another chance will book again. ”

“We stayed for one evening and it was a perfect stay! The house was easy to find and check in to. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was fully stocked and easy to find. The bathrooms and bathtub are older but still clean. We would definitely stay again! ”

“This property was very homely and clean when we arrived. The location is within a reasonable distance to all the places our family wanted visit. We were provided with all the necessities needed for a short stay.”

“Every need was met before we even arrived at this home. It is great for 2 couples as there is 2 beds and a bath upstairs and 1 bed and bath downstairs. Beautifully decorated and everything we could have needed was supplied. Communication was great as well. The location is great for everything South Dakota has to offer. If Vrbo offered the option for a 10, I would definitely rate them a 10. ”

“Very good house, best we have stayed in yet. Most places in Rapid City were 20 minutes or less away. Good neighborhood. Many good eateries less than 20 away. ”

“Our family stayed here for 6 nights exploring the Hills and visiting family. It was a great spot. Perfect size for our family of 3 and our dog. Well furnished with all the essentials. Great location on a quiet street near walking/biking trails along Rapid Creek and convenient access to both Downtown Rapid and the Black Hills. ”

“Property was in excellent condition, very well maintained and clean. Our family had an excellent experience, and our host was top-notch. The host allowed unexpected access to his garage to accommodate parking my motorcycle at no extra charge, and a last-minute request. The host made this experience smooth, stress-free, and very enjoyable. I will certainly stay at the same location if my family travels back to South Dakota.”

“House is perfect location for all you want to do in the Black Hills. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Lots seating area for meals. Down stairs is great for grown kids or second family, I would suggest owner puts in coffee bar and small refrigerator in the lower level. Upstairs deck if wonderful wine and fire pit. Host has done a good job to make if vacation friendly”

“Great home with convenient location to mt Rushmore. The yard is huge and waterfront area has seating to help you enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The tiny house with hot tub was a huge hit with our kids and the dogs loved the yard to stretch their legs after a long day of travel. I'd definitely stay here again. ”

“Great experience! Did have to check in personally with host to sign waivers, which was unexpected, but helpful to get info about the property and area. Was such a great property to stay at with the swimming hole and trails. Location to all of the things to explore in the area was also good. ”

“Place was spot on perfect! We were 6 adults and felt comfortable. Fully stocked for cookware and seasoning and such. Great quite neighborhood but loved all the birds.”
