“The place felt newly remodeled…very clean and comfortable! Fitness area has great treadmills. Kids loved the pool. Comfy beds. Awesome selection of free breakfast items, including a gluten free chocolate muffin and bagel!”

“The water bottles that were provided were priced at $5…what if the water was provided for free..this would have been a much more positive experience rather than being annoyed at the cost of $5, which we did not choose to purchase”

“Centrally located and very convenient. Quirky old hotel with a friendly staff and nice amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, Custer State Park, or any of the other attractions in the area!”

“Booked a room advertised as 2 king beds and when we checked in, we were informed they don’t have them and the description was wrong. Didn’t get clean towels after 2 days when requested. Shampoo attached to wall was empty when we arrived.”

“Staff - Horrible had to check me in 3 times , keep calling didn't even know who was in the room even after the 3rd time checking in. Charged my card when the hotel was paid for in full online , breakfast below average for price.”

“For the nightly rate, I expected more, but you can see the wear and tear in the room. There was an opening at the bottom of the floor in the corner by the tub. I could have picked a similar hotel with breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Look at your other options nearby.”

“This hotel and experience was just “meh.” Our room smelled like it was once a heavy smoking room and they tried to cover it up with a gross smell. The carpet was stained and I didn’t want to step on it with my bare feet. The pool was ok. It was warm, but nothing special. Breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, cereal and waffles. There are tons of places to stay in Rapid City- if I were to do it again, I’d choose somewhere else.”
