“Friendly, quiet, breakfast is great! walking distance to restaurants.”

“Beautiful room, which was spacious and clean. The towels were thin and flimsy and the cheap plastic toilet seat kept sliding around when I sat down on it, a safety hazard for elderly patrons. Otherwise, the property was wonderful!”

“The handicapped “accessible” room was barely accessible. Furniture had to be moved just to enter the room in a wheelchair. The entire building was so wet from humidity that everything in the room felt sticky. The toilet did have a handicapped bar, but it was behind a room centered toilet. The 1 vending machine we found was empty, the atttached restaurant was closed. We stayed 2 nights and each night, once at 12:30 a.m. and the next night at 2:00 a.m. the fire alarm in our room started……

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Gate Garden Inn. Everything was nicer than it had to be. From our room we could see lovely farmland and horses grazing. The breakfast was ample and served on china with proper cutlery. The pool was a nice place to relax, and there was extensive outside seating with fire pits and a stream where I could watch birds. The exercise room was clean and well-equipped. We were right next to both the Menno-Hof visitors' center and the Shipshewana……

“The room wasn’t exactly clean looking, the floor was sticky and had a lot of weird black spots all over it. We were put on the first floor because the elevator was broken and were immediately told the poo laws closed for maintenance. A lot of the breakfast appliances were broken too.”
