“Room was clean and warm, could do with a lamp or softer lighting as spotlights were a bit bright ”

“We stayed here for one night and were very impressed. We made use of the Leisure Centre. Make sure you book The Spa if you want to use their facilities. The Lakeside Bar area was very nice with a vast selection of spirits including alcohol free cocktails and bottled beer/cider. We went to the “Allo Allo” dining experience which was fab. We had a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, then woke up and had a buffet Full English breakfast which also had a croissants gluten free muffins fruit and……

“Everything at this Hotel is amazing. I took my wife here for our 49th Anniversary, for a 2 night break and our Honeymoon Suite was fabulous. Great views over the hills. Room was spotless and comfortable. All staff were really helpful, but I must mention, Michael who was here there and everywhere and on hand when you needed him. Food was awesome both breakfast and evening meal. A big shout to Kat at breakfast. This girl is an absolute star, so pleasant and has a very warm welcoming persona which……

“It was a good short stay, well appointed rooms, clean and housekeeping good. Comfortable bed good shower in terms of water pressure and adjustability Could benefit from not having the big lip to step out the shower. Breakfast was basic but a good thing to have included. It would be improved if you could have a few additions in request such as poached, fried or boiled eggs Although every day or scrambled eggs were great”

“A pleasant hotel on the top of the hills. The service was very good. One morning my breakfast was delayed due to a conference and I was given that on the house. The room looked a bit worn but pleasant and comfortable enough. My only criticism was the £100 damages deposit that they ask for upfront. I have never been to a hotel that asks for that.”

“We had a great time yet again at the village hotel but fortunately we stopped in 173. This room is narrative impossible to find the postage for it is absolutely crazy. If we just stopped another room we will give you a five star service rating.”
