“It was very private and quiet and a secluded area. It was a clean, cute little place. Only thing that drove me crazy was the acorns that kept falling on the tin roof. Overall great stay!”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“Overall it was a good stay, very peaceful. The owner was very responsive and helped us right away. the only thing i’d say is that it’s priced kinda high for what it is AT THIS POINT. it seems new and somethings haven’t been done yet, there were no instructions for wifi, how the door lock works which for younger people probably isn’t a problem but for older people it could cause some issues. other then that it was a beautiful property.”
