“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“This is a new hotel and everything was clean and neat. We had some trouble at check-in due to problems with the reservation and payment from Expedia. Not sure if it was a computer communication problem. The manager was able to straighten it out and the rest of our stay was fine.”

“Easy check in and the owners were responsive to every question. Clean rooms, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very convenient to downtown. Would stay here again, without question.”

“I checked into my room when I got there. Walked into it, and there was mold in my first room on the wall. So they moved me to a different room. The second room had red stains all over the bed. So I ended up just leaving not even staying the night. Do not stay here.”

“Wow..just wow! All I can say about this stay was that it was absolutely incredible. Starting from the very easy pre-check in process all the way to the gorgeous rooms, every detail of the Kasa was creative, innovative, and of course, stunning. Between the free iced protein coffee beverages and water in the room refrigerator (plus snacks, like protein bars and chocolate!) to a fully, and I mean fully stocked lobby area with complimentary snacks and more drink options than most restaurants have,……

“The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in (except my own). The property is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are spacious, especially the bathrooms. They recommended a wonderful restaurant just steps from the back door. There are elevators which were not mentioned in the expedia description. We will definitely stay again when we are passing through.”
