“Nothing to write home about but the staff were all great. The lobby is very pretty and the outside of the hotel was beautiful. Inside was worn from time in general and lack of paint and repair work throughout but the staff was quiet and very enjoyable.”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”
