“We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but the staff worked hard to allow us into the room early. Upon return to our room after dinner, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom (as the extractor was blowing air in!), however Darrell noted the issue carefully for their maintenance team and moved us to another room immediately. Great service”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Rembrandt Hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, the shower was wonderful and the towels were large and fluffy. It’s a little out of the main area of Weymouth but not too far to walk. There aren’t any cafes in the immediate vicinity but again not too far away.”

“All in all a pleasant stay in a well appointed hotel which clearly caters for the elderly very well. Close to the beach and to the transport hub and land train pick up and drop off points is a major benefit.”

“The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I had concerns about staying in a pub because of noise only this was not the case. Location great and we were back in time for a night cap. Also thought the double (used to king size at home) was going to be uncomfortable thankfully it wasn’t. We didn’t realise shampoos etc were in the landing our fault as we collected the key earlier than check in and returned later that night. We hope to return next year if we go to the Wessex Folk Festival.……

“Had a great stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was fantastic. Highly recommend the local steak if it's on the specials board. Well stocked bar with a huge selection of spirits. Filled up on the full English breakfast each morning. Well worth adding that option! Outside and car park could do with a spruce up but don't let that put you off, the interior is fantastic!”

“This was our second stay at The Cumberland, excellent as before! We book a family room number 7, it’s very quiet with a rear view over the town, spacious, light and very cosy. I normally don’t pay a particular attention to toiletries but they are so good at The Cumberland so I had to google and order for my home. Hosts are wonderful, breakfast yummy and central location. They provide parking permit if you can find a spot near the hotel. We’ll be back!”

“Very convenient location in downtown Dorchester, good for walking trips around the town. Several museums and historical sites nearby. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice restaurant for breakfast (no lunch or dinner service). Several restaurant very nearby, easy walk. HOWEVER, very tiny parking lot (accessible from a side street) which can accomodate a maximum of 9 small UK sized cars, so it is easy to find ot full. A large public parking lot is a couple blocks away, and it is possible to find……

“Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti per festeggiare il nostro anniversario in anticipo. Il personale è gentile e professionale, ci hanno trattato con molto riguardo facendoci sentire coccolati. La struttura è bellissima, soprattutto il giardino e la terrace. Le stanze sono arredate con cura, ci hanno anche offerto una stanza superiore senza supplemento perché avevano appena avuto una disdetta. Un soggiorno meraviglioso, spero di poter tornare. ”
