"The room was clean and very comfortable! Gabriela is the host and owner of the property. She is knowledgeable of the area and helped us book a couple’s massage at a local Resort. The continental breakfast is great! There is hot water and the TV had Roku so great to rest in the room before dinner! We will be back!"

"Contemplación is a lovely complex consisting of approximately 10 separate bungalows surrounding grapevines, lavender patches and flowers. There are walking paths through the foliage with several benches and cabanas. The restaurant Salvia Blanca is centrally located on the property. The pool and spa are at the top of the hill and offer views of the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 2 night stay. Everyone was helpful and friendly and we never felt unsafe. The owners have a dog rescue adjacent to the property so we got to pet some of the sweet resident rescue dogs. Like many other hotels in VDG, this is off the beaten path and involves a 10 min drive on a bumpy dirt road to get to it. I can imagine it would be difficult to find in the dark. We would love to go back to Contemplación next time we return to VDG! "

"Small boutique property, very beautiful. Limited dining times due to size. Very clean and safe. Staff was excellent and knowledgeable about the area. Very accommodating. The setting was beautiful. Food was delicious and wine tasting was great. Paulina the chef and sommelier was wonderful in serving and explaining the wines. "
