“The room was very clean and the staff were helpful. I didn't have expectations regarding the quality of the room but I was pleased with the bed, bathroom, etc.”

“It was good in general. However, the breakfast could be better because the fried eggs had fake taste, and they run out of dough for waffles at 9am.”

“The location was good for the event we were attending, however, parking was a bit stressful because we came in late after our event, and struggled to find a space. Room was clean, yet very small, and we could hear upstairs tenants walking the floor above us after midnight. Also, the upstairs bathroom created a knocking noise in our room. Mattress was very firm. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Premade burritos and sandwiches were bland. Flavorless coffee. This room was not worth its expensive……

“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“The view from the balcony of our lakefront room was lovely. Unfortunately the balcony had not been cleaned - a few pieces of trash but the a/c unit about 6” from the chairs were covered in bugs. Hard to keep it clean with the nearby water but this was there when we arrived. The room was recently renovated and was lovely. We liked the location and had a great time in the area. We ate at the restaurant the last evening and enjoyed our food.”

“We really enjoyed our quiet relaxed experience. The insight restaurant was delicious and the blazing Firepit overlooking the lake was perfect. Our room was comfortable and the staff very helpful.”
