"What a treasure! Great location! I know this is a work in progress, but the property is on it's way! We were so glad they kept a lot of the original features like wood paneling, windows, and stone! The additions are fun and bring it up to date. We slept so well!!! Quiet and peaceful. We look forward to staying again."

"We stayed at this property for a last-minute weekend ski trip and very much enjoyed it. The house was well equipped and spacious and the host was very responsive. We chose the property in part because the VRBO listing indicates it is a 4 minute drive to Cataloochee Ski Area. Unfortunately this is not accurate and it is actually a 35 to 40 minute drive to the ski area. Since the purpose of our trip was skiing, this was a bit of a disappointment."

"My only complaint is when we arrived at our room the heat was not on at all... the heater took quite a while to raise the room from about 50 degrees to 68. Other than that it was clean and comfortable."

"We loved the awesome art and artifacts, books and decor. The place was clean and had a nice variety of organic tea in which i love. It was a little hot but the host remotely adjusted the temperature quickly for us. King sized bed was great. Washer and dryer was helpful. GPS kept messing with us (not the hosts fault) , so we drove in a circle for what felt like 25 minutes. We plan on coming back to stay again when we can stay longer. :) "
