Top York Hotel Reviews
The Milner York
"The hotel itself was absolutely wonderful and breath taking! My partner and I booked the signature suite with the city view through Expedia with the expectation we would have a clear view of the York minster as pictured, however, the room we were given had no such view. I understand there are variations to the suites but this specific view was my main reason to book this room so was quite disappointed with this. Other than this, we had a lovely stay at the Milner York and cannot fault the customer service and the food!"
Hampton by Hilton York Piccadilly
"Great location for exploring York. Only small complaint was that the child's pull out bed was very hard and my daughter had some trouble sleeping."
Burn Hall Hotel
"This was possibly the best Hotel we have stayed in. Very calm, room was very nice. Very efficient staff during meal times, helpful & friendly. The meals were great. Planning our next visit before years end."
Hilton York
"The staff went out of their way to be helpful. They stored our bags when we were early for check in, there was always infused ice water available in the lobby, and the location was perfect."
Delta Hotels by Marriott York
"Lovely hotel with character. Breakfast was calm and quiet - just what was needed and filled us up for the day! Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. The lift was very small and made strange noises so not for those who don’t like them! Furniture/ air con etc in rooms does need updating but considering the heat we had an excellent night’s sleep"
Hotel Indigo York by IHG
"Great stay at the Hotel Indigo in York. Staff were very helpful and hospitable. Great location and comfortable rooms. Will return!"
Malmaison York
"Staff in reception were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that on hotels.com there wasn't much said about the opening days of the roof terrace yet had mentioned the terrace so assumed we couldn use it. On arrival we found out it was shut Monday & Tuesday we also found out that you need to book well in all to get a table on the terrace & without a booking you cannot go up to the terrace. The room was great as well as the breakfast.the hotel itself walking distance to station & city centre"
York Pavilion Hotel, BW Signature Collection
"Well located on the outskirts of York. Very little road noise on the front, none on the back. Excellent choice of breakfast cooked to order Very attentive staff."
DoubleTree by Hilton York
"Ideal location, lovely staff, comfy bedroom and very spacious; and a great breakfast the next morning :)"
