The room was good except for our air conditioner. The room was warm and muggy. Everything in our room was damp. That definitely made sleeping uncomfortable and not so good. The other 2 rooms that our family were in, were cold and comfortable. Staff was friendly. We felt very safe at this resort. Breakfast was always good and the coffee was fantastic. Dinners were ok. Rodeo Grill was disappointing. All 4 meals that we had were over cooked and dry. The Italian restaurant was wonderful. The dinner buffet was decent. I'm all for having to dress up for dinner but when the men have to wear slacks or jeans with the heat and humidity it made them very uncomfortable and miserable especially when your not used to it.

We just finished a family reunion on Thanksgiving and we loved it. We stayed at the White Sands, awaiting our room at the Family Select at the Kantenah, and certainly preferred the latter, although the White Sands has a nice pool and best restaurants. The kids loved it, and the swim up is worth getting, if you can manage it.

Very nice resort
The main pool needs better maintenance
The smaller pools are cleaner
Room service was slow but it does come
Staff is wonderful
We found it crowded with chairs and you need to put your towels down before breakfast to get a spot
Pool service was ok but honestly the totally water down the drinks!! So sad and unfortunate
We won’t be back due to this reasons
