"The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. "Went to check out Gettysburg, PA and had a great time. The Stratton House location cannot be beat. Our group was able to walk to everything in the historic district, which made it nice to not have to find parking and get in a few extra steps. The house is perfect, beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a few meals of our own. If you are staying in Gettysburg and looking for a place to stay, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Stratton House!!!"

"We think Thaddeus Stevens himself would have loved this log house. We certainly did during our 3 day stay. Cozy and well decorated. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Close to downtown and just steps away to a local grocery. The owner, Sarah, is truly exceptional! Helped us in so many ways including making sure our kitchen skillet was returned to us after we accidentally left it in a cupboard. Hats off to Sarah, and a great little getaway!"
