"The place is near Convoy area where you can find asian restaurants, markets and karaoke at night. 15-16 minutes away from the beach. It's a nice place to stay with family and friends. Super clean. I would definitely come back"

Beds were comfortable to my surprise, shower was great, again older overall building, but good simple breakfast and great people all around. Happy for a quick just stay to sleep and get go early."

"Love this cute little motel. I’ve stayed here 6 or 7 different times while my son was a student at SDSU. The Lamplighter Inn is consistently immaculate- honestly, the grounds and buildings are so well-maintained. The breakfast is basic but good, the laundry facilities, water dispenser,& vending machines are available 24/7 in a secure room next to the lovely, shaded pool area. Parking is plentiful and free. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance "
