Left a valuable watch in room and returned after check-out. Very honest cleaning staff left it on bedside table. Rewarded her for her honesty - nice to see there are still good staff workers at this hotel.

This is a nice property but it's a older property and it is a bit of a walk to the downtown Benff but the hotel gave us three day passes for bus which was very helpful to get around the hotel is very clean and it had a rustic feel the only downside is there is no restaurant on site but there is restaurants in neighboring hotels otherwise we had a wonderful time

When I booked this property there was no communication that I would be charged half of my rate if I book multiple rooms. When I phoned about this my option was to lose all my rooms and not book a block or leave as is. No other option and the lady was miserable to deal with. When checking in multiple rooms at different times. They kept forgetting to include the vouchers and additional information to the rooms on my booking. There was a $15 voucher to be used at select dining locations during my stay. Turns out there was an error on my bill after the fact. Nothing they can do it is the restaurants error and they will not assist. Again, I asked a follow up question the lady at the front desk was starting to get irritated. Overall I would never stay at this hotel again.

The location was on the edge of town and quiet with an easy walk in. We were told we could use our $15 credit the night we checked in or the next day if we just told them at checkout that we hadn’t used it yet. So we planned to use it the next day, but then when we went to check out, we were told we actually Couldn’t use it later. Since there’s not a restaurant on site, this is not an easy thing to have a food voucher that’s at other hotels. They were all sit down dinner restaurants.

The hotel is very rundown and not very clean. Our safe didn’t work for two out of four days, despite reporting to reception. I wish I had spent a little bit more to have nicer accommodation. Certainly not worth what I paid.

The property is aging but it was comfortable with exception of the bed pillows. They are very hard! They offer tea and coffee in the lobby which was nice. I walk a lot so it was nice being a bit away from the downtown hustle and bustle. It is only 1 mile from main area. No restaurant within hotel but plenty of options within walking distance. The staff was very nice!

staff were nice. hotel was cute. room was clean. the window opened but we couldnt get it to close. our room wasn't ready for check in at 4pm but they let us store our backpacks to explore around. $524 for one night seems outrageous but that appears to be on the "cheap" end of normal for banff. overall not a bad stay. I would stay again

The property is in good shape, the room was nice, staff was great and you have on site parking (the entrance to the garage is only 6"4" high so no big truck). The pillows can use updating as they are hard as rock. Other than that it was very convenient to the bus stop as it is outside the hotel (hotel provides three day bus passes for free). Several places to eat withing walking distance and right on Banff avenue. If you have kids, there is a very nice playground next to the hotel.
