"The front desk guy is a little cranky, and they have rules about checking in before 10pm, which is not ideal, and the TV’s are weirdly small. That said, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, and the location is sneaky-great. Java Beach next door is a great local coffee spot, and Pasquale’s Pizza is an SF institution. Staying outside of the tourist areas in SF is a great way to experience the City that the locals do. "Perfect location to stay in San Francisco . Cable cars right outside the door that take you to Fisherman’s Wharf, easy walk to Chinatown and down to Ferry Market. Accommodating and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable but warm (no ac). Large ceiling fan and the window opens. Lots of restaurants and diners close by. Great stay! "
