“This was our 5th stay here - a true hidden gem... simple rooms, but spotless. The front desk gent (manager? owner?) is a total class act - very much cares for his guests, looks after them - a true delight. There are large and small rooms - the small ones overlook the parking area to the rear, and are quieter; the larger ones overlook Judah St and the street cars/MUNI - we personally love its sounds: shades of Manhattan. We've stayed at a couple other nearby places - but the Ocean Inn is by far……

“We stay there for two nights, the WiFi wasn’t working which was pain,toilet cistern was leaking water at the first night, we have to turn off the tap on the wall, it was repaired the next day. Our room was facing the street, it was annoying whenever cars passing by at the night, apart from that the hotel services was good, the girls at reception were kind and helpful , the location of the hotel is quite central ”

“Worst hotel experience. The front desk people do nothing but sit there. They scam you when you’re there once you left the hotel they hold your money and prepare another saying. Don’t ever stay there.”

“Great place to stay in the Ternderloin! Staff was very friendly, room was clean and suitable, area's not the nicest but the location couldn't be beat given where I was going. The price was right too. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”
