"Comfortable, cosy bungalow that is exactly as described & pictured on Vrbo. The gracious, friendly owners are onsite & greeted us when we arrived & said goodbye when we departed. The bungalow features a great layout for two couples as there are two king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, one of which has a second door to the common area. These private areas are separated by the living room, dining room, & kitchen which provides some welcome privacy. An SUV or 4-wheel drive car may be helpful...

"This property was perfect for our visit back to Alfred. It’s very close to the village but far enough away that nighttime was quiet and peaceful, and the architecture of the space is one of a kind. Peter was a great host and I’d highly recommend this for anyone visiting Alfred."

"This property is in a perfect location. The house was clean and had all the stuff you could need to enjoy your stay. Silverware, cups, plates towels, blankets, bedding ect. Just beware the low ceilings down stairs, they got my husband a few times. The lake and docks are stunning. The hot tub was very clean. All around a great stay."

"We had a great time at this property. Less than 10 minutes to Watkins Glen and the Gorge Trail. Multiple wineries with 10 minutes. Also a bunch of markers markets and local farm stores within 20 minutes. We really enjoyed exploring the area and then winding down on the back porch at night after a day out. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to explore the Watkins Glen or Seneca Lake Wine Trail."

"This place was such a hidden gem. Property was huge prestine. Very well keep us. The cottage was beyond clean and huge. Very large 2 bedrooms. Loved the outside hot tub, picnic table and chairs were all very comfortable."

David & Holly had a happy birthday banner hanging in the main room and left a heart shape of rose petals on the master bed as an anniversary surprise! There was a loaf of fresh baked bread in the kitchen and farm fresh eggs in the fridge. Both were so delicious and we enjoyed them each morning for breakfast. There was a little hiccup with the hot tub being at temp upon arrival, and our hosts were gracious to provide...

"Very comfortable house with a large fenced-in yard, grill and other conveniences. The owner was attentive and helpful. The house is steps from a lovely college campus set on Lake Keuka."

"I stayed with my wife and a group of friends for a race at Watkins Glen. This house worked out perfectly for the six of us with plenty of space for everyone and really nice common areas plus a nice backyard by a river with a grill. The house and property were beautiful and the area was gorgeous, very close to Watkins Glen State Park and a short drive to town with great stores and restaurants. I’d love to come back and stay longer!"
