“Lovely and comfortable accommodations! The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower was great. The extras of toothbrushes, toothpaste and razors was a game changer. I normally have all of those items when I travel but needed a razor and it was so nice to know I didn't need to make a run to the store!”

“This place is a gem! The house is so clean and perfectly appointed. You can’t get a better location…walkable to so many restaurants and downtown. We spent a majority of our time on the huge covered deck. The host is very responsive and helpful. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this place is it. ”

“My plans changed so I only visited the property briefly. The living room and bedroom could use a thorough cleaning and updating. The back screened in patio not a very functional or clean space. ”

“A great place to stay! The home was beautiful and rich in culture. On the walls were wonderful pictures and blurbs detailing the significance of the people and local history. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of mugs, dishes and silverware (enough for 12). Across the street is Brandwein's Bagels that taste like they came from NY. We walked one block to Franklin Street where we explored the UNC campus, ate and shopped. We hope to be back soon.”

“Excellent location and very responsive hosts. The unit does not have its own thermostat which was problematic. Opening and closing the windows was how we controlled the temperature once we got tired of messaging the host every time it needed adjusting. Upgrade to bath towels would be a good investment, otherwise everything was fine. The electric door lock broke and owners were unable to repair it during our stay. They provided a key which was an excellent solution. Overall good experience and……

“The property was well laid out. Had all the amenities that me and my family needed. Some of the best sleep my wife and I have had in a while. The location to UNC and dining was perfect. Would highly recommend this property to any family traveling to the area.”

“For two senior citizens this was perfect! Wooded area just minutes from our relatives’ home, quiet, full accommodations, and sweet treats. I’m guessing house is c. 1950 with eclectic decor. Only one bedroom had TV but not a problem for us. Our host was very good about responding to all questions. We plan to stay again next year if available.”
