"Small “hacienda” in good location for puuc route exploration. Do not confuse with traditional luxury haciendas that were actual working farm fiefdoms! You get the basic necessities. Only had 2 pillows on a king size bed, furniture was nice but room was sparsely decorated. We did not have the down comforter, only a sheet on the bed and extra blanket in closet. Peaceful and quiet, beautiful pool and gardens. Friendly employees, air dried towels, blackout curtains, good food at the hotel restaurant...

"The lodge was exactly what we wanted, a place to stay on the edge of Uxmal that allowed us easy access to the site. The staff is well trained and caring. The concierge whose name I think is Luis hooked us up with the wonderful guide Wilbert. All good memories from this place."

"Excellent location across from Uxmal ruins. Very interesting history of the Hacienda as well, including famous people such as Queen Elizabeth who stayed there! Breakfast was delicious and pool cocktails were also great. Grounds are beautiful and filled with colorful birds. Staff was accommodating. Don't expect uber modern luxury."

Get away and relax

"Beautiful, rustic, and very relaxing. Get away from it all for a few days and let yourself be pampered by the sounds of nature, the hospitable staff, and the excellent food. Note: if a TV is a must, then maybe not the stay for you. No TV in the room. However, we enjoyed not having a TV and minimal wifi. We connected as a couple and truly took a break from the devices. "

A true Reset from a busy life.

"Well, it was not what we were expecting but it was certainly a fantastic find. The word Reset is totally apt. The staff are unobtrusive and especially helpful, responsive and kind. Be sure to ask them for an excursion to see the cenotes. The guide is staff and knows exactly where to take you."
