"First stayed here in the 70's when truly was a Florida fish camp. Nice to see how well the place has been renovated. Enjoyed my stay greatly. Easy bike ride to down town and great view of the bayou."

"Beautiful log cabin with attractive log furniture inside. Right on the water with tables/chairs to sit by the river. Excellent overflow parking area for boats or trailers that has security cameras to monitor the area. We did not use any amenities of boat ramp so no comments on those. "I see why others mention the neighborhood, but although there are some properties that are questionable we felt safe and the neighborhood was quiet. If you plan to cook during your stay, there are not many options for cooking pans/utensils. So bring casserole dishes, a frying pan if you prefer “non Teflon” type. There aren’t items like tin foil, plastic wrap or zip locks either. These are not complaints however, just informative for the next person. It would be nice if there were TVs in each room but we made it work. No fans in the rooms either, again just a note. Overall it was spacious and the outdoor area was nice and somewhat secluded and private. The place was clean and beds were comfortable."
