"This house was very spacious & above all, clean. I loved the view & the location was perfect. I take my son snow tubing every year for his birthday & knowing how short of a walk/drive to the snow tubing place was just the icing on top. Anna was very friendly & responsive, I have no complaints! Loved this house & would recommend to friends & family! "

"Very comfortable accommodations. The town is beautiful, the views to die for and the locals are flush with southern charm. When following directions to the location you will be by a BBQ restaurant. The chalets are on the back of the restaurant. Be advised, there are lots of steps to get into the chalet. There are lots of steps every due the mountainous terrain. Property manager is wonderful. "

"All screen doors were damaged and there was trash under beds and bathroom vanities. Feces on top of toilet seat. Even though it was not a pet-friendly home, we had to deal with fleas and what certainly smelled like dog urine on all bed linens on the lower level. Contact with Carolina Cabin Rentals, the property management, was sketchy at best, continually left messages to report damages as we found them, which were numerous, and rarely got a callback if any. What should be a magnificent home is...

"Traveled a family of 10 adults and 5 children and the Cabin was very spacious accommodating all of us with great comfort. The house is well kept with all the ammenitities to make the stay pleasent and comfortable. The rental agreement and accessibility to the house was clear from the beginning. Less than 5 minute drive to Beech Mountain resort made our sky trip all the better. Good"

"Perfect location and views. Great proximity to Beech Mtn. Plenty of space. However, property furnishings were extremely worn and needed to be thrown out. Pillows in tatters, couches and chairs were gross. Coffeemakers were all broken. This property definitely needs a makeover. If that bothers you, you’ll want to stay somewhere else."

"Property was in a great location and house is nice, but the property was not very clean when we checked in. Dirty dishes in sink, fridge not cleaned out, dishes in the dishwasher. Linens were disgusting, hair on pillows and on sheets. Kind of ruined the whole stay."

"The Big Skye Lodge was absolutely breathtaking ! The cabin was designed and decorated very tasteful . The cleanest cabin I ever rented for our family. The kitchen was well stocked . Only bad thing was the signs leading you to the cabin, not well marked. And all the additional fees was a little to much. $25.00 for bed linens should be included in your nightly fee. $ 75.00 for hot tub. That's almost like .75c to use the toilet however, the cabin was extremely wonderful! "
