Beautiful place and great accommodations. We saw plenty of elk and deer without going anywhere. Loved the nice decorative touches and unique things.

Peaceful getaway.

The highlite was the location of the property (no neighbors). Everyone had a memorable getaway and we cannot wait to come back.

Family holiday

We had a fabulous time at the ranch. It was my parents 50th wedding anniversary and the place was perfect. Something for everyone to do and space for all of us. We loved the hot tub, sauna and the the barn for movies. Jason was a great host and the caretakers on the property really took care of any needs we had. The only thing I would’ve done different is stayed longer!

Amazing get away!

We were looking for a get away where the property was unique and close to nature, with a hot tub/sauna/fire pit, with plenty to of spaces inside and out This was perfect!

words can not describe the beauty of this place

we rented the property in March for a getaway. and the place is nothing if not exquisite from the beautiful mountain views drinking your morning coffee to relaxing in the hot tub durring a blizzard, or hearing the sounds of the mountain late at night. it was truly remarkable and cannot wait to return

World away

We loved the location. It was quiet and felt like a world away. The house was unique and comfortable.(the turntable was a blast from the past and a laugh for our kids). The house has everything you need and more. Will definitely try and get back there.

Beautiful and perfect setting for a retreat

The bugling elk and the show they put on with the back drop of fall leaves and mountains was breath taking. Everything you could possibly need is provided for and more. Enjoyed the hot tub under an almost full moon and brisk air. Cannot wait to return. Very glad Jason shares this property for others to enjoy.

Stunning Property

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here for our family Christmas. The weather was cold, but we had so much space in the lodge that we were never crowed and always cozy with the wood stove. The weather didn't stop us from going outside to explore. It was magical to sit in the hot tub with the snow falling. It's a perfect location if you have a large group. Thanks for sharing this beautiful property.

Fantastic Place

This is an absolutely fabulous piece of property. This is the second time we have rented this property for a fishing trip. We enjoyed every aspect of the house. Comfortable, spacious and clean with great wood burning fireplace and the added bonus of a foosball table. The six of us agreed that we would definitely book this again. We would find it hard to find such a better place to stay when in the Fernie area.

Best Vacation Rental EVER!!

We love to travel and have stayed in hundreds of vacation rentals. Hands down the best rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. Super comfy beds, very well equipped kitchen, movie night every night in the barn, fishing on the river and our favorite watching elk from the hot tube. Seriously, this is the place you want to stay. We are a family of 10 ages 9-45. Kids loved it. Thank you cant wait to return.

Elk River Lodge

Elk River Lodge did not disappoint! One of the nicest properties we have ever experienced. Jason was amazing throughout the whole process. The Lodge has every amenity you can think of. From the hot tub and sauna to the magnificent loft for movie viewing. Our family had a wonderful 3 night stay and would recommend this vacation property to anyone. Thank you Jason!

Returning to “The Ranch” for family fun!

Watching a flowing creek and Elk herds over coffee in the kitchen is a favourite peaceful time. Lots of room in this beautiful ranch style lodge. Family time over games, food, the hot tub and the horses are some of our favourite things. Highly recommend this peaceful eden. Just a short distance to the mountain makes it a perfect get away. Week of peace and solitude

Our family came up to reconnect with the surrounding beauty and solitude of what we thought this setting could offer us. We were not disappointed in the least amount and wish our stay could have lasted much much longer. It was more peaceful and beautiful than what we could have imagined. Most memorable stay with incredible scenery.

We booked the property for 4 night stay while fly fishing the Elk River out of Fernie. The property was outstanding. Super private with horses and mountains. Large herd of Elk crossing property 40 yards from kitchen window. What a great way to eat breakfast. Accomodations were very comfortable and house was extremely clean. We hired a chef for our meals and loved spending the evenings at the house after a long day on the river. Very comfortable on all accounts. Absolutely worth the drive from Fernie. We will be back!!!
