It was a clean room, nice view, a very unique looking hotel on the inside and the out. I'll walk in shower was nice. Has a small snack bar stocked, for fee. The bar and restaurant on the rooftop very convenient great cocktails. Also the coffee shop in the lobby was amazing.
Gorgeous, comfortable room. This is a very UNIQUE property.Nice views of downtown. Great amenities. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing! The staff are very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again.
One of the most unique hotels we’ve ever stayed in! Roof top bar was fantastic. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was amazing- both food and service. Honestly We haven’t been this happy with a hotel in a long time! Must stay.
What an amazing place. We were so impressed with all the amenities, the service was perfect, the room while slightly smaller was perfect for a long weekend stay. Stellar Jay restaurant is a must!! The little owl coffee shop makes great...everything. It is a perfect location to 16th street shopping and entertainment. Larimer square is great, And the thrift store bar is a MUST.
Restaurants and bar were really nice, good food and drinks…really appreciated the daily $15 credit for Pasque.
Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and we loved the sustainability theme that was present through the stay. We will be back!
This is an amazing gem in the middle of it all in downtown Denver. You can enjoy the rooftop lounge, have a dinner or scarf the fried potatoes at breakfast. The morning breakfast pastry selection is awesome and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful building with well kept rooms. Great location for walking and getting around the city. The biggest issue was the smell/ scent the hotel had was not pleasant and made for two very uncomfortable nights- I typically love signature hotel scents but this one was not your relaxing woodsy scent, it was like a mesquite bbq smell. It made my allergies worse and I arrived back home with my luggage and clothes still smelling.
I found this hotel listed in an architectural digest magazine and it surpassed by expectations on all levels. The hotel was stylish, the service was incredible, the rooms were comfortable and the food was so yummy.
Luxury at it’s finest
The restaurant was great as was the coffee bar. The 2nd floor seating area was terrific. The room itself was good but not great. The concept was good but the execution could have been better. It was pretty dark and there were not enough electrical outlets. They also need towel hooks in the bathroom. The bed and bedding were excellent.
My wife and I were here for a long weekend and couldn’t have been more happy. It’s a beautiful building, inside and out, with a great gym, coffee options for early risers and a cafe in the lobby with the best coffee we had in Denver.
Populus is an amazing hotel! From the staff and cleanliness to the restaurant and coffee shop, everything was exceptional. The entire property is absolutely beautiful, and every detail feels thoughtfully designed. We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back!
Impressive property with exceptional dining options and friendly staff. Room was spotless and comfortable, although fairly small—a Grove Queen may be tight for more than one guest. Pasque was delicious, well-priced, and had friendly service. Little Owl Coffee met the same standard. I enjoyed the rooftop guest lounge in the mornings for complimentary coffee. The property is a short walk from the 16th St FreeRide, which was convenient.
