This property was great. A was a little concerned about not staying in a branded hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised what a great place this was. While this is a historic property, it is well maintained and the staff was amazing. We felt like we were staying with family. The breakfast buffet has a ton of options. Parking was close and safe. I highly recommend this property. Kudos to the management.

Staff was very friendly. Hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, toast and other snacks. Room was clean. Only thing is that the fridge wasn't working. We found out the next day that the cool wasn't enough right before we left the room. We never called the front desk about it though.

Room was a nice temp when we walked in, which was a surprising plus. Room was clean enough. Pool temperature was enjoyable. Beds were comfortable enough. Check in was smooth and efficiently. Towels were never stocked in the poolroom. There was a group of teens in the pool both nights we were there in their in the pajamas (girls) and underwear (boys) playing music loudly over a bluetooth speaker and jumping and throwing each other without much regard for others. Also hanging on eachother in front of children. Another family said their room smelled of smoke heavily. The hotels around seem sketchier but we had no isses personally. There were always people standing around outside (smoking) but nothing seemed dangerous. Just off main road but weirdly has no straight entrance from mainroad and have to turn on side streets to get there (can be narrow at times due to cars parked on side of road in residential areas). Breakfast was decent. Not a full buffet per say, but more than fruit and cereal. Very small breakfast area. Tvs can log into your own streaming services. Would stay again for cheap stay when passing through the area or for short visits when planning to spend little time in an accommodation other than to sleep/was.

The staff was helpfull. The room smelled of smoke even though there we signs everywhere that said no smoking. Other than that it seemed clean. There were some obvious repairs that needed to be done, like the toilet ran all the time and the closet door was off it's hinges. We were there during a snow storm and the drive wasn't plowed which they appaligized for. Nice people likely need better management or better owner.

The room was nice and clean. A little disappointed they didn't have biscuits and gravy for breakfast, other than that the breakfast selection is good. Didn't get to swim but the pool looked good.

Front desk was super friendly and helpful. Our room was mostly clean with exception to one of the bed covers (badly stained). AC worked initially, but overnight it either stopped working or became inefficient because the room heated up by morning. Breakfast was average, and we left with full bellies.
