We had a fantastic stay at the Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort. The room was absolutely beautiful—elegantly designed, comfortable, and with breathtaking views of the Alpsee. The staff went above and beyond, especially Tomy at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. Breakfast each morning was a treat—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting this area.

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. Our room had wood flooring and a rug, which is something I don't often see in hotels! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was an enjoyable experience as well.
As a note for American travelers, if you're...
