"What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!"

"The house has lots of space—really good sized rooms—and plenty of towels, linens, outdoor furniture and equipment, etc. to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredible stars on a clear night. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from JMU and it was close enough to be convenient."

"Booked our cabin for an early Mother's Day getaway. The property is fantastic, with just the right amount of seclusion and wonderful rustic charm. We spent our Saturday climbing the Via Ferrata and up to the Seneca Rocks overlook, coming back to the hot tub was a great way to end the day! Highly recommend Spruce Mountain cabins and we'll definitely book again!"

"Unfortunately the host accidentally double booked this property and our group did not find out about it until we arrived. They offered to partially contribute to a hotel stay for us, but unfortunately the closest hotel was still about an hour away. "

"This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent"

"My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was just lovely! The drive in was beautiful and low stress since I downloaded the map so I could access it offline. The check-in process was easy and the hosts left a wonderful loaf of home made sourdough bread for us.The mountains were beautiful and so relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the bird feeders by one window, and had a great time bird watching while we had our morning coffee.We planned what we would eat ahead of time and brought food in with us which was good because there were only small stores on the way in.the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the whole home was very clean."
