Heather Meadows Trail Tours

Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay at the Sandman. We had a great northern view of the city and mountains, loved the cozy bathrobes provided, took advantage of the reasonably priced Shark Club restaurant attached, and appreciated the close proximity to many walkable sites. The pool and hot tub were also clean and enjoyable. While we were able to store our luggage early, we returned twice to check-in a bit early, only to find that we couldn’t and did not receive the ‘special corner room’ that one desk clerk promised, who appreciated that we were staying for seven nights. Upon entering our room, we were satisfied with the cleanliness but did discover some housecleaning issues that had not been addressed. This was reported to the front desk. And one day when we requested that our room be refreshed - and we were away for 5 hours - we returned to find that our room had not been cleaned. New coffee packets were grabbed from the cart in the hallway. A suggestion would be to move the noisy vending and ice machines into a separate alcove, away from the rooms so as to provide more peace and quiet. Overall, a nice stay.

Our room and our view was beautiful. Also, every single member of staff were incredibly warm, kind and helpful. It really made the experience top notch. Would definitely come back again!
