This immaculate modern apartment is the perfect tourist accommodation. It is within walking distance to Salamanca Place and the CBD.
Battery Point is Hobart's premier suburb, characterised by a quaint historic village. You are spoilt for choice with both cafes and restaurants and many guests find they have no need for a car at all.

The waterfront is minutes away, as is the famous Salamanca Market which operates every Saturday from 7 am.
The property is fresh and modern, with a fully equipped kitchen, and pantry basics eg tea, pod coffee, sugar and condiments, cooking oil, salt & pepper plus more.
Upstairs there are two roomy queen bedrooms and a single bedroom. The queen bedrooms are equipped with electric blankets and TVs, with blackout blinds. Both upstairs bathrooms have walk in showers, IXLtastic heaters and heated towel rails.
Also upstairs is a laundry area with front loading washing machine and sink.
Washing detergent is provided and there is a clothes line in the courtyard.
There is a third toilet/powder room downstairs.
We use a professional linen service to ensure luxurious bed linen and towels.
Paraben free toiletries are provided.
We are committed to running the property with minimal waste, environmentally friendly cleaning products, and supporting locals.

Downstairs is a living room, dining area and full kitchen, all opening onto a private leafy north facing courtyard. There is a Smart TV in the living room, and an ethanol fuelled fireplace. Your preferred staples (bread and milk) will be provided if requested.

The property has its own entrance and parking for two cars at the front door. It is accessible by key safe so you do not need to lock in an arrival time. There is a Ring doorbell with webcam for security purposes. At NO time should this camera be moved or covered by a guest.

A portacot, low chair (can be attached to existing dining chair) and stroller are available if required.
This is an executive apartment directed to the tourism market: it is NOT available for parties of any description (including family events, wedding preparation, hens groups or similar). It is for the sole use of the registered guests, with no ‘third party’ bookings unless otherwise agreed with the owner.

Excellent location, property and host

The perfect location - short walk to Salamanca and all the attractions of Hobart. Many fabulous dining options all within an easy walk. Clean, well-appointed, spacious apartment. Kitchen has everything you need for those who like to self-cater. Laundry facilities (lack of a dryer is the only negative with the property). Easy to heat well and warm bedding provided. Host is friendly, helpful and very thorough with detail so all property and local amenities are clearly explained. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, modern and extremely comfortable accomodation in a very convenient location .

The apartment was much larger than we expected and the heating was excellent for we Queenslanders not used to the cold. It is very well equipped and is just so comfortable. The inclusion of parking is a bonus.

Well located spacious and quiet townhouse. Well provisioned pantry and rest of place. Having met the owner, she most concerned to provide the best for us and didn't disappoint.

Lovedstaying at this place. It had everything and more that we required. We parked the car in front of the house when we arrived and didnt need to use it until we left. It was within walking distance of battery point, shops, waterfront etc. Would love to stay there again.

Great Stay in Battery Point

We had a great stay in this property in Battery point. The location was great - a short walk to Salamanca or town. The apartment was well appointed. We really appreciated the crusty bread and other treats that were supplied and the extras in the pantry made preparing light meals a pleasure. Would definitely recommend the apartment.

Homely and Relaxing

Ticks all round for a most wonderful apartment: proximity to Salamanca area-walking distance, extremely well maintained and appointed accomodation, comfortable beds, Thankyou for the kitchen goodies. Despite some reviews heating and cooling are available and most adequate for the whole apartment. You do need to be comfortable with internal stairs which are manageable with suitcases if you are. Battery Point beauty

We stayed in this property for 4 nights in July 2019 and it was fabulous. It was well equipped for the winter with good heating, was very close to Salamanca and Battery Point restaurants and have a generous supply of provisions on hand. Perfect - thank you. A must try is Da Angelos Italian restaurant nearby.

Fantastic property, great location

Property in a great location for a trip to Hobart. Just a few minutes walk from Salamanca. The booking was accepted immediately, details were emailed prior to the visit, a text with access to the property on the day. Was professionally managed which was nice to see. The property was exceptionally clean and tidy. Electric blankets on the beds for winter was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay in this property again and can highly recommend it. Girls long weekend walking Hobart!

What a fabulous property for three ladies to enjoy the delights of Hobart on foot. Location was superb, easy walking into Salamanca, Battery Point and the wharf precincts. A bottle shop right across the road, supermarkets an easy 10min slow paced walk away and cafes/restaurants all around. Maxine was a delight to deal with; very professional and friendly, quick response time and welcoming to her property. Having a room each was excellent, after walking all day, we could retire to our rooms for a peaceful rest if needed. The kitchen was very well appointed with crockery, cutlery and pantry staples. Highly recommend for groups or families.

Excellent hosts, very nice townhouse with good location.

We stayed here for three nights during our first visit to Hobart. The hosts were lovely and communicative and gave us a real feeling of being welcomed. The property is a spacious 3 bedrooms with a large and beautifully-landscaped terrace. Kitchen is very well stocked and hosts left us bread, butter and milk on arrival. This would be a great base of operations for a group of up to 5 with big sitting space, nice dining table, books, games, etc. Location is unbeatable. It’s in the Battery Point area just a few blocks from cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. Another couple of blocks is the Salamanca market street which is a huge scene on Saturday but also houses dozens of bars and restaurants week-round. Adjacent to that is the harbor with more choices and the ferry to MONA and other destinations. It has two parking spaces at front door. Just a couple of things to be aware of. There is no central heat or cooling. There is a very good wall-mounted heat pump in main living space downstairs so that area is absolutely climate-controlled. But bedrooms only have one radiator in upstairs hallway that is on a timer. Beds all have electric blankets for very cold weather. If it were hot they might be uncomfortable to sleep in but we were there in autumn and had no problem at all. There is a washing machine but no dryer. The provided drying rack was fine for a medium load if you have time to let things dry out. There is also a rack and pins on patio. Just a lovely stay and highly recommend!

Everything covered for in the house. Excellent location, walk to everything, and good centre point for drives around the area. Hosts were very friendly, and nothing seemed to be a problem. Will go back when next down that way.
