I like the location, the room. The common area could be much better. This hotel is perfect to go with family( big rooms like apartments). The location is very good unless you have to reach by stairs. Knowing that is a good option.

Everything was pretty good, especially the view and room we got. The only downside is the outdoor stair steps you need to take before arriving at the hotel-- make sure you get the hotel porter to help carry your luggage.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

A wonderful base from which to explore this beautiful city. A beautifully appointed hotel that felt like an oasis with stunning views of the Bosporus from the terrace. Staff couldn’t do enough to help , and breakfast was delicious . There are so many wonderful bars and restaurants a short stroll up from the hotel too. Loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is located down some stairs from the main road but the staff help with bags .

the staff were amazing so we thank them. the property is not 5 star im sorry its not. I travel all the time and this property needs some love. The pictures online are not a true reflection of this dilapidated property. The whole place needs a paint, there is broken chairs, broken glass, broken items all around the property. The view isn’t what it is on expedia nor are the pictures. This is a 3 star property at best. I’m a platinum member of expedia we travel to lots and lots of hotel with our children and this property needs some updating (massively) The room itself was in good condition and we appreciated the space but the rest of the property was a serious let down. But again the staff and manager they have were amazing so thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loop Hotel. It exudes character and authenticity, with its long stairs, resident cats, and charming coffee shops frequented by locals. If you want to immerse yourself in the spirit of Istanbul, this is the place to stay. We stayed in the Penthouse Room, and it truly offers one of the best views of the Bosphorus. The jacuzzi was a wonderful addition, providing much-needed relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The hotel's location is another major plus. It's within walking distance of Taksim Square and Dolmabahçe Palace, and there's a tram stop right at the bottom of the hotel that takes you to the main sights within 10 minutes. Galataport, full of restaurants and shops, is just a 5-minute walk away. We had a toddler with us, and getting around was very convenient. The hotel's restaurant is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. We even witnessed a proposal one evening, thanks to the amazing views. The staff were fantastic, helping with our bags, answering our questions, and responding to requests promptly. Don’t let the stairs or the fact that this isn't a standard chain hotel deter you—Loop Hotel is an amazing place to stay, and we will definitely be returning. Ksenia

The perfect hotel to calm down after a day in the city. Very kind and welcoming people. Only thing we would recommend is creating a sun-bed area around the pool instead of chairs and tables. It feels a bit strange to take a bath “in the middle of the restaurant” We loved the place and would recommend it to everyone!!!:)

The view of Bosphorus from our verandah was great but that’s where it ended…the staff spoke VERY limited English so communication very difficult. why would it not say that one way in there are 93 steps to hotel, other way in there are 103 & not even a welcome drink…we arrived tired & longing for a swim to thudding music and pool & bar area FULL of young partying because Lo and behold this area DOES NOT belong to the hotel… where was that fact in the small print! The entrance at the top of the 93 steps was literally full of rubbish, I had to tread on cardboard boxes to get to steps, there is a cat comunity complete with feeding bowls & huts down the first few steps, all extraordinary, and Quite ridiculous… breakfast, compared to the other 5 hotels we have stayed in in Turkey very poor. Everywhere one went there were staff smoking or eating in corners. Our balcony and in fact one of the loungers had bird poo on, the cups were sticky to lift off their plate and to cap it all off NOONE woke my husband this morning (as prearranged) for his flight to London. This hotel definitely needs an enormous wake up call as the prices for what one gets are utterly ludicrous. This is really not even worthy of three stars …

Das Zimmer war in einem guten Zustand und sauber, jedoch die Gläser beim Frühstücken und die Theke war schmutzig. Nicht gerade sehr appetitlich. Einzelne Bereiche waren unordentlich. Das Personal war eigentlich sehr freundlich.

Schöne aber recht laute Unterkunft. Man sollte vielleicht auch eher im Sommer hierhin reisen. Die Zimmer waren überheizt (nicht einstellbar)und der Frühstücksraum dank fehlender Tür zu kalt, jetzt im Frühjahr! Allerdings entschädigt der tolle Blick auf den Bosporus!

Man muß Treppen steigen und das sehr viele! Es gibt einen kleinen Pool, allerdings direkt an der Bar gelegen. Sehr unvorteilhaft, denn es stehen überall Tische und Stühle drum herum. Also wie auf einem Präsentierteller. Frühstück gibt es erst ab 8h! Auch die Tür ist vor 8h geschlossen. Will man raus, ist zwar Personal da. Aber die schlafen dafür die ganze Nacht auf der Couch neben der Tür?!? Frühstück war nicht der Renner, sind lieber außerhalb frühstücken gegangen. Essen von der Karte war gut. Wir hatten das Penthouse-Zimmer mit Whirlpool. Ausblick ein Traum! Whirlpool selbst....Wasser läuft sehr langsam rein. Beheizt ist er auch nicht (wichtig für die, die sich zur kälteren Jahreszeit hier aufhalten und Sprudrln ist so gut wie gar nicht gegeben! Unterm Strich würde ich das Hotel nicht nochmal buchen.

Une très belle surprise! Accueil très sympathique, tout le personnel est à l'écoute. Superbe chambre avec terrasse, jacuzzi et vue sur le Bosphore ainsi qu'Istanbul Asie. Petit déjeuner copieux sur une belle terrasse. Très calme et facile d'accès malgré un escalier pour accéder à l’hôtel! Ça permet de digérer...Une semaine vraiment géniale.

Acceptabelt men ikke hverken 4 eller 5 stjerner.

Området var tarveligt og overfyldt af kattehuse, hvilket også gav en kraftig kattelugt på hotellets fællesområder. Værelse og gangarealer var moderniseret og i virkelig god stand. Resten af hotellet var slidt og ikke særlig indbydende. Morgenmaden var simpel og kedelig, personalet sad/lå og sov i lobbyen halvdelen af tiden. Men beliggenheden opvejer for minusserne.
