Safe, clean, casual and good value for money.

I was in the 9 bunk bed girls room for one night. It was clean with clean linen. There was a shower and separate loo and basin and the shower had hot water.The place was safe and the staff were polite, comfortably casual, and helpful. I stayed to go to a gig in Cameden and on chatting to some of the other girls they were also going to gigs but different to mine. Yes a backpackers and not a hotel but really good value for money. I would stay again. Thank you for my safe stay St Christoper's Inn ooxox

The staff was great and friendly but the USB port for charging my phone at the bedside was not working, there was a random colorful pill on the floor beside my bed, the tap in the toilet sink had no regulator and I could not brush my teeth properly without burning myself because it only got hotter and hotter, the shower floor and surfaces were nasty with grime and hair. The location was good though but the actual bedroom condition was awful.

The bed was comfortable and the hostel is in a very accessible location, about a 15-minute walk from both the train and tube stations. The surrounding area has plenty of food options and bars. Contrary to some reviews I read, it was not too noisy during my stay. The bathroom, however, was extremely small — I struggled to shower properly due to the lack of space, and I am only 5'9". The bar area was a nice place to relax, and guests receive discounts there. The room was very hot, with only one fan for the entire room, placed on the floor. On the positive side, the toilets were clean. Overall, it offers good value for money despite a few comfort issues.

No air con in a stuffy room

The room was so freaking hot, no air (even with an open window), stuffy, and there is no air con. I think a proper air system is a basic need and should be a standard in any type of accommodation, including hostels (especially hostels considering many people share the same space). I booked the bed for 5 nights, stayed only 1 as it was unbearable.

Convenient location, nice staff, clean bathrooms. Pros end there, the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in a long time - heating on 24/7 the rooms are so incredibly stuffy I felt like I couldn’t breathe icl. Minimal ventilation, Plug sockets janky - only one worked and had to go plug my stuff in the opposite side of room. Guess you get what you pay for but would not stay again.

My booking disappeared from the system, as claimed by the staff. As a result, I was assigned to a very noisy room, which made it difficult for me to sleep. On my second night, I was supposed to stay in a female-only room, but I was only given a mixed room, so I didn’t sleep there. The place has the potential to be a nice option for sleeping, but it really depends on the staff. My experience varied from horrible to just okay. 😟

The hostel is VERY noisy. The rooms are above the club, so it's not particularly possible to sleep there - the beds are shaking. Also luggage storage works in a funny way - you pay first and then find out if there is anything suitable for your bag size.
