“First, the water smells like rotten eggs. It is well water full of sulfur. That should not be used except for flushing toilets let alone for bathing and cooking. The entire cabin smelled so strong with sulfur 24/7. It’s disgusting. Second, this is not a two bedroom cabin. It is one bedroom and a living room with sofa bed. I am disappointed especially given that I paid almost $570 per night for three nights. It ruined my family vacation.”

“The facility was very well appointed with all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay at mount rainier. We did not find that it was lacking anything that we would have needed to make it any better. An extra, after a long hike, was the hot tub. This was a much needed bonus. For future visitors we would absolutely recommend the local coffee/ ice cream shop for both the obvious as well as the recommendations by the staff.”

“really clean and cute cottage in the Mt Rainer surrounds. We only spent one night but from the moment we got there we could see the owners paid attention to ensuring all the conveniences of a home were available. the area is not completely remote which was a bit of a surprise but not unwelcome as the neighbours all were friendly and added to the holiday vibe. Easy to get to the Paradise entry of Mt Rainer by car (about 55mins) and within short distance of local shops for groceries etc. Thank you……

“We stayed two nights while on a family hiking vacation and wished it could have been much longer. It was super comfortable, with extra touches like plush towels and high quality toilet paper, fixings for waffles ( with chocolate chips !), games and puzzles. It was spotless throughout. We ended up spending more time than expected inside due to rain and really enjoyed every minute. The fireplace made it instantly cozy on a cool day and the sofa just called out for a nap. We used both bedrooms……

“This was our 2nd stay there and we love it - so comfortable and cozy! Everything is fully stocked and all you need to bring is food! Kitchen is awesome, living space is roomy and bedrooms are comfortable and all nicely decorated! It is a beautiful location - we enjoyed Mt Rainier Natl Park one day - spent time in the hot tub and used the firepit for smores! Kids loved running around the huge property and the nearby creek! We will be back for sure! Very family friendly which we loved and……

“Pros:- Great location- Super peaceful neighborhood - Beautiful nature - Had all necessitiesMeh:- Not the cleanest- Silverware, plates, and cups had food bits or residue and had to be washed before using- Cobwebs on lights - Tub doesn’t drain well at all- The house has definitely been smoked in, though it smells older like it was years and years ago. It would have been nice for that to be disclosed as we have a child with Cystic Fibrosis and this can irritate his lungs even if it’s old or stale……
