'Built for your enjoyment' Timbers with hot tub!

"Hot tub was great, not super hot but just right. We thought this was a stand alone home but it’s actually a condo. The fenced in back patio helps to make you feel more secluded. Great are close to town, house had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. We had the wrong Door code upon arrival but a quick call with the property mgmt and we were able to get in. We also couldn’t get the pilot to light in the fireplace but the maintenance guy came to light it for us. It was a great stay!"

"Restaurant was good, the breakfast wasn't great. Staff serving breakfast weren't overly friendly. Front desk people were all very nice. Missed the BBQ, but it smelled great. Rooms were nice. Not much within walking distance. Overall a nice place and I would stay again. "

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip easy and enjoyable. They provided brochures with family‑friendly activities in Alamogordo and the surrounding areas, which made planning our days so much simpler. Their local recommendations were thoughtful and genuinely helpful. One of the best perks was that the hotel offers discs at no charge for sledding at White Sands. It saved us from having to rent them at the park, and the kids had a blast. It’s such a small gesture, but it made a big difference and showed how much they care about their guests. Overall, the service was excellent, the staff was kind and proactive, and the extra touches made our stay feel special. Highly recommend for families visiting the area. "

"The hotel sits right next to the highway but the view behind the hotel is nice. The parking is convenient. I was most impressed with the staff. They were professional and friendly and all of my requests were taken care of immediately. My kids really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast each morning was good. I felt comfortable in my room and around the hotel. It was very clean. I would highly recommend especially for anyone traveling with family."

"We loved the classiness of the hotel generally. They've done a good job of maintaining the vintage character of the place, without being prohibitive in terms of cost. That being said, it is due for a slight makeover, especially the room itself (the lobby is beautiful). Also, it's fine if there's no elevator, but as long as this is the case, a bellhop really is necessary (and would have been available in the old days, I am sure). "
