Welcome to Westwinds 4847 “PELICAN'S VIEW PENTHOUSE” a 3 Bedroom/3 Bath condo boasting the loftiest beachfront views. The breathtaking panoramic gulf front views from the wraparound balcony showcase “dawn’s early light” to spectacular sunsets and marine life. The large wrap balcony provides plenty of seating with two round dining tables with four chairs each, and two more chairs.

This unit has been continually updated with all new furnishings, stainless steel kitchen appliances, renovated walk-in master shower, paint, ceiling fans, lighting, and trim work. Most recent updating included new kitchen cabinetry, quartz countertops, backsplash and pantry cabinet. You find a the kitchen fully stocked with cooking items and a dual coffee maker.

The primary bedroom features a king size bed, en-suite bathroom a bathroom with walk-in shower and double vanity, and gorgeous gulf views. One second guest bedroom includes a king size bed, private en-suite bath, and wonderful views. The third bedroom includes a twin top bunk, over full-size bed, and twin pull-out trundle bed. A hall bathroom with tub/shower services this guest bedroom and other visitors.

Easily travel around the resort in your own 6-seat golf cart! The golf cart provides easy, fun transportation around the resort to golf courses, shopping, dining and entertainment at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, Marina, Tennis and Pickleball facility, and all the shopping and dining options at Grand Boulevard and the Market Shoppes. For the fitness enthusiast, Westwinds offers a great fitness center or step right outside for miles and miles of sidewalks for walking or biking throughout the community.

Best in Sandestin!

My family has stayed in Sandestin the last five years. This was our first condo and whoa, this hit the mark. Beautiful condo with the most beautiful views. Great outdoor space. We loved the pool and the hot tub with the waterfall. The beach wasn’t too crowded. I would highly recommend.

The place was super clean and gorgeous, a few reviews said the place was unclean and dirty, however I thought the opposite. We stayed for my bachelorette trip with my mom, sister, grandma, and friends and it was so fun! This was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at, and would recommend to others! We hope to be back for sure!!

Perfect Beach Week Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in this unit! The condo was very large, it was clean, and the golf cart was provided as stated it would be. We have stayed in the Westwinds tower 3 other times, this is our favorite unit. We almost didn't come back to this resort because the last time we stayed (different unit/owner), the golf cart was being fixed and they couldn't provide another one. So we booked with our fingers crossed and were very pleased to see the gigantic golf available upon our arrival. I would say the only downside is the lack of a storage closet with beach items, each other unit we have stayed in had chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys that were available for us to use. It wasn't a huge biggie because we were able to rent them on the beach, just know that it will be an additional $250-$350 (almost worth it not to have to tote them back and forth yourself though). Overall, beautiful unit on the top floor with AMAZING views of the ocean. Would rent this unit again.

Great location but that’s it

We’ve stayed at several condos in San Destin and this one was the worst. Cons:- The listing says “recently updated” but I wonder how recent because all the showers have terrible mildew and the floors are nasty.- The beds and furniture are all wayyyy past their prime. Everyone complained about the state of the mattresses (sunken in and lumpy). The couch and chairs aren’t any better.- The pillows were so flat and uncomfortable.- There were no basics in the kitchen like salt and pepper. - We were provided with only one dish towel and 2 trash bags for 7 days. I asked for more and got no response. I understand they won’t supply you with everything for the duration of the stay but I feel 2 trash bags is ridiculous. - The washer was filthy and every load of towels we washed had black and brown mildew flakes on them. They either need to clean the washer or just get a new one.- The property management company was terrible at responding. I had to ask the same question multiple times to get a response. Also, I requested if we could get an early check in several days prior and they kept ghosting me. Finally, I called when we arrived and they kept giving me the run around. We got in 30 minutes early which was nice but it would’ve been better if they just told me yes or no so we could’ve planned our day a bit better. Pros:- The view was great.- There were beach toys to use which was nice.- The amenities are good.- Golf cart was fun and easy to bop around in.

Sandestin 2nd stay

This was a repeat stay for us because we loved the trip so much. The condo was the perfect size and location for my family (2 adults, 2 kids 5) and my in-law. They had their space, we had ours. The proximity to beach was amazing, pool kept the kids entertained and the golf cart allowed access to the resort across the highway and restaurants/shopping. Highly recommended this stay though maybe I shouldn’t so we can keep staying here!

Great trip to Sandestin. Loved this unit for the great views, comfortable beds and golf cart included with the rental. Pool is relaxing and it has food and beverages available for purchase. The resort has fun activities for kids of all ages.
