"We really loved the home, especially it's location as it enabled our son to walk to class and return to spend family time within minutes. Amenities were great, as we cooked and appreciated the sugar, oil and such as well as cooking utensils. We did struggle a bit with the furniture, as both the couch and kitchen chairs were relatively uncomfortable for any extended period of time. We're recommending to the owners that they upgrade these, after which this rental will be tip top in our opinion and...

"My family had a different reason for seeking peace on our trip to the area. We were in town for a family funeral, and this little piece of heaven was exactly what we needed. The cabin was very welcoming, had what we needed, and had the peace that was very welcomed during this difficult time. We were close to events and family in Solon, but had a quiet, peaceful place to let down. The lake was a short walk from the property, with a convenient trail for walking, running, and enjoying nature."

"Clean, comfortable place to spend a night or three. Friendly staff. Included breakfast is about what you’d expect from a hotel at this price - cereal, donuts, buffet-style scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles. The only real issue is trying to get to downtown IA city. Getting out of the parking lot involves either making a left turn (with no light) across a very busy 5-lane road, or doing some gymnastics to navigate through some neighboring parking lots to make a slightly easier left, then make another left at a light onto the 5-lane road. Not a huge deal."
