“Appearance very welcoming. Room was fine but there is a lack of hooks/bars to hang towels (bar under sink does not accommodate bath towels). No free wifi is a drawback. Breakfast was fine. One issue was trying to check out - no one at front desk - rang bell numerous times and still no one after 10 minutes. Had to leave note & keys checking out and call back to ensure they had checked us out.”
“Room was clean; toilet seat was loose and moved side to side; stayed two days and requested towels be replaced and bathroom cleaned and bed made; bathroom was cleaned when we returned to the room later in day. Bed was not made up, just as we left it. Glass not left to replace used glass.
Nice and quiet. Parking was a big problem for use, since it was in the basement and long walk to room. Very challenging for elderly with health challenges.
Desk staff was very pleasant and helpful.”
“The room was swampy, with a musty smell of tobacco impregnated carpets and fabric. The front desk staff was rather surly. This was certainly a case of 'getting what you paid for'”
“This quaint little hotel was easy to check in and out of. The room was very clean except for a little gravel dirt on the carpet. We felt perfectly safe letting my baby crawl on the floor. Would definitely stay here again!”
“The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. That being said, this hotel is possibly unfit for people. Our first room had a strong musty smell, mold in the ac, mold on lamp shades and various deep carpet stains. We requested another room and were given the hot tub suite. I was told it was inoperable currently. That room also has mold in the ac and mold on the lamp shades. Neither bathroom has any active venting at all.”
