" a wonderful change in an unbelievably beautiful setting. Would be great for small families with all the activities.
Most importantly it is staffed by a great groups of people who will take care of anything you need. "
Peaceful sound's of nature!!right outside the east gate of Algonquin park .
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing cabin! This place has everything you might need: full-equiped kitchen and bathroom, beautiful ornaments, Wi-Fi connection, and a massive space in every room and backyard."
"This is a marvellous property! We rented it for a week for 11 of us. The cottages are very pleasant, and the entire property was ideal for us. Excellent outdoor space in particular, and right on the water. The indoor space in the largest cottage would be very tight for 11 people having a meal, but we had good weather, so this did not pose problems for us."
Cozy, modern cottage lots of space, perfect waterfront for swimming / water fun!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a truly lovely stay at this cozy cottage in Barry's Bay! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the quiet surroundings made for a wonderfully peaceful retreat.Unfortunately, our youngest wasn't feeling well with a bit of sun exhaustion for the first two days, so we spent some quality one-on-one time indoors. Thankfully, the cottage was well-equipped with plenty of puzzles and games, which kept us happily occupied during her recovery while the rest of the family enjoyed the water activities. We were also delighted by the occasional visits from a beautiful hummingbird to the feeder out back – a real treat, even if we never quite managed to get the camera out in time! The host was amazing with communication, making everything seamless from start to finish. The cottage itself was very homey and comfortable. As expected with a lakeside location, bug spray was definitely a must-have when spending time outside, but that's just part of the charm of being so close to nature. We highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!"
Barry’s Bay 5 bedroom , beautiful sunsets, private Beach, Hot Tub,
10/10 Excellent
"This property is beautiful! The cottage is brilliantly laid out with master bedroom and ensuite on upper level with remaining 4 bedrooms and full bath on lower level, it was perfect for the senior members of our family, kids and grandkids. The waterfront was great for swimming and kayaking. Lots of seating at 2 dining tables (one inside and one outside.)The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. We all had a magnificent time at this spacious cottage. The only drawback was the slope from the cottage to the water. It is not very accessible for people with mobility issues. I Highly recommend this property!"
Escape with 7 seat HotTub and Couples Cold Plunge Sleeps 10
South Algonquin
10/10 Excellent
"The hosts were fantastic, offering to meet me and describe the area and amenities, or to leave the keys in a secure lockbox and let me explore on my own. The property is well setup with the main house, a bunkie, a wood shed, a covered BBQ/game area, as well as a large firepit and a garden with seating for conversation. The owners have plans for additional recreational activities in the near future, including badminton nets. The property is well forested, and you can barely tell that you have neighbors."
"Lovely older building with a new modern look and amenities. Our room was beautiful with serene views amidst the winter landscape. The lobby/lounge was warm and welcoming. We booked a hydrotherapy session and thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sauna and steam room.
The food was amazing at the restaurant and the service was on point.
The resort itself is quite remote, but during an unexpected winter storm it was the perfect retreat. "
"Our dome was great as were the facilities offered at the beach for relaxing in the sun or sitting by your own private fire, kayaking or canoeing.
We had not realized the lovely private bathroom was outside the dome but only 2 steps away.
It was not clear that the “stove” was a single ring attached to the barbq but we made it work.
Management was very helpful and available if needed.
We are seniors, really enjoyed our visit and would recommend trying a dome. Thank you."
"We enjoyed a short family vacation on lake Haliburton. The cottage was clean with well stocked kitchen for 4 people. We enjoyed time on the large dock with beautiful views of the lake. The property is being updated.
Brett welcomed us on arrival and check in instructions were communicated by cell phone.
and other cottages are being updated."
