The team at the front desk was friendly and responsive, exactly what you want after a long day on the road. Parking was hassle-free, and the location is convenient to VMI and historic Lexington. Breakfast offered hot and cold choices and was well-stocked. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to families visiting VMI or anyone passing through."

"The Lodge offers simple rooms with comfortable beds and an awesome view of Abbott Lake and nearby mountains. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant was quite good and super convenient. Don’t miss the walk around the lake, which is paved and accessible. It’s a great pre- or post-dinner stroll and we enjoyed it. Excellent stop while taking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway! Highly recommend!"
