“Wonderful location that was in the middle of all we wanted to explore. Had every amenity that we needed for an off the grid, UP, getaway!! Would definitely recommend!”

“Just stayed the one night as I explored the UP. There is a MiFi device in one of the rooms. The information for the logging is in the display.”

“The property seemed clean and comfortable. The heating system worked well. We cooked several meals there and enjoyed 4 nights of excellent sleep. We also used the outdoor grill, using wood, and found it easy to use as well. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Awesome cabin with great privacy to truly enjoy nature. It was close enough to all the main attractions like Taqunemon Lower and upper falls, and Whitefish Point. Great communication with the owners when we needed anything. Would highly recommend for your UP getaway! ”

“Our visit worked out exactly as hoped, giving us the perfect central location to get to Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti Kipi , Tahquamenon Falls, and Benny the Beard Fisher. A few things to keep in mind though when you choose this property: the upstairs bedroom is an open loft (without a door for privacy), evening dining on the rear deck has a lovely view but is subject to loud road noise, and if you have someone sleeping on the pullouts in the living room it is quite comfortable...

“Brought our granchildren from North Carolina to see the U.P. Saw Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls,Miners Falls, Pictured Rocks, Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse, water tower in manistique & fish Hatchery,Kitch-iti-kipi, & Oswalds Bear Ranch we loved the sauna & bonfires & family time!”

“Great location, peaceful lake, fire pits were perfect for smores and late night hangs, kids loved kayaking and the cabin has just the right amount of amenities to be comfortable while still escaping to the woods! The bunk house bedrooms were fun with the extended family. Very summer camp vibe (w/ good mattresses) and perfect for our fam!”

“The cabin was centrally located. The cabin was nicely decorated and in excellent condition. Everything was in working order and in good shape. We took day trips to Pictured Rocks, Munising, Marquette, Manistique, Tahquamanon Falls, Paradise, Grand Marais, and Fayette Historical State Park while we were there. We ate dinner at the cabin all but one night since it had a well-equipped kitchen and a good gas grill on the back porch. If we are able to visit the UP again we would be happy to...
