"The room was beautiful! The staff was warm, helpful, and friendly. I really appreciated being offered a parking spot near the property (the parking lot was closed due to an event). If I ever visit the area again I will definitely book a reservation at the Best Bet Lodge. A must stay!"

"Fantastic! Was looking for some quiet "me time" and it was perfect. Never heard any noise at all. Bed couldve been a bit softer but I was glad there was an extra blanket in the closet."
"The Topaz Lodge is perched above Topaz Lake with views from all the rooms. The coffee shop which is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner has great views and so does the steak house but check the opening days for this one. The lake is so beautiful, and the rooms are a decent size. This is not a brand-new hotel, so it is showing its age, but the room had a table and chairs, and an armchair, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. What makes it a great hotel, apart from the location, are the staff. They always have a smile on their face and are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I want to give a shout out to Feather in housekeeping and to Donna and Monica at the bar. The hotel gives vouchers for a free drink, and $3 off breakfast per person, per day. The hotel has a casino which we enjoyed."

"Really enjoyed staying there over the weekend in July. Beautiful room with a character, very spacious and comfortable. Blackout curtains, comfortable bed and pillows, a lot of convenient tables and storage space. Nice bathroom. Every floor has a different theme and is interesting to walk around and look at the pictures or items related to the theme. Will definitely stay here again, next time I go back to Reno!"

"This is a lovely property with (frankly) an amazingly beautiful PARKING LOT! I was in awe of the beautiful Ponderosa Pines left standing majestically throughout the lot!
The property itself has many amenities (pools, hot tub, s’mores fire, private beaches) that made our stay unique and memorable. Thankfully the front desk staffer put us on the 12th floor with beautiful views and relatively quiet surroundings for the number of small families around. There were several places to buy snacks, buy souvenirs or gifts, and eat any meal of the day. "
