Great house, perfect for a family get together. Roomy kitchen, large dining room, beautiful views, wonderful swimming pool and hot tub, convenient to stores and restaurants. An excellent choice for Christmas/New Year's stays.

Graduation

We had a wonderful time in Phoenix for my granddaughter’s graduation. The home was beautiful and the swimming pool and patio were a hit with everyone. Could not have stayed at a more accommodating VRBO. The location was perfect. Highly recommend this VRBO. The owners and property caretakers were very accommodating. Plenty of room to park as well. Thank you for a spectacular family vacation.

Great stay but picture is deceiving.

My family’s stay was excellent! There were a few things that needed a little attention, but hopeful these will be taken share of. Also I was a little disappointed we could not go into river that shows beautiful blue. It is all reclaimed water, therefore no swimming in it. Fishing is catch and release. But the pool was great!

Paradise in Glendale!

Six of us ladies had an amazing time during our stay at this property. The house was comfortable and well stocked, not to mention in a beautiful location. Any and all questions were answered quickly and check in and out were a breeze. The weather didn't quite cooperate so we had less time to enjoy the pool and outdoors but overall we were very happy. This is the start of an annual trip!

Great family getaway

Clean and well equipped. Despite the unexpected cool weather, we enjoyed relaxing family time. One thing I would suggest is that instructions on operating various things like the stove, hot tub and navigation lights on pontoon (we finally figured out they were on timers or solar), and the tv in the master bedroom. I never did figure out how to get regular network channels! Karen and her husband were wonderful, I just didn’t want to keep bothering them with silly questions.

Thanksgiving in Arizona

We were delighted to spend Thanksgiving week with our adult children and their partners at Hacienda del Lago. The house had all the amenities we needed and was conveniently located for restaurants, groceries and other shopping. The large kitchen with a disappearing wall to the outside was especially useful. And Thanksgiving dinner on the patio was a delight. The whole family loved taking the pontoon boat out for cruises around the lake. The only real downside was the lack of instructions for some of the house's systems -- pool filter, hot tub, televisions. But the property manager was able to help us out with that. Overall, we hightly recommend the house for large groups.

Hot, Hot, Hot

Thank goodness for working AC and a swimming pool! With temperatures over 100, our family of 5 was very grateful to have such a beautiful home with plenty of space, that was well stocked, with a fantastic infinity pool. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect and allowed for us to be in or out, day or night. Nice views of the mountains in back (w/access to hiking trails at the end of the street). The home is very close to groceries and several restaurants, making it convenient. The added bonus of the pontoon boat was also a nice perk. (We didn't realize that you couldn't swim in the lake or that the boat couldn't be operated when temps were 100+, but this didn't hinder us from taking it out in the morning or evening for a nice cruise around the lake). Some fishing gear is provided and we were able to catch a few (and release them). We had a small issue with the fridge, but this was promptly resolved with timely communication from the property manager. The home is somewhat dated and could use a few fixes, but overall, it was very comfortable (especially the beds) and provided us with the perfect spot to enjoy quality family time for the week. We would definitely recommend Hacienda del Lago!

Good location.

We really enjoyed the location of the house on the lake. The boys enjoyed the boat rides and fishing off the dock, catch and release program. We had issues with getting responses from Karen when doing the initial booking. We had asked for pictures of the fire pit and hot tub for months. Never got them, the fire is a table with a propane tank so it doesn't throw heat. The hot tub was in need of being cleaned and Karen's husband was very good to come when we called about an issue. The kitchen set up with the disappearing doors was wonderful. At a premium price we were surprised to have to buy paper towels and garbage bags. There was one bag but the garbage compactor didn't work, and the garbuerator didn't work so we did need lots of bags. There were no hangers or dressers in at least two of the bedroom so living out of the suitcase for a week. We kept waiting for someone called Judy to pop by for some of our questions, neither she or the basket ever arrived but the bottle of wine was wonderful! Overall the house is nice but could use some attention to the details that would make it a great house.

Graduation Celebration

We brought our family down to celebrate our daughter's graduation from GCU. We had a wonderful time with 3 generations--relaxing, enjoying the fabulous weather and spending time together. This house was the perfect place to do that.

Great spot for families!

We stayed here over spring break to see Royals spring training games with 13 people, including an 18 month old, and three other kids six years at under. Had a great time with the amenities, including the pool and the hot tub and the boat. Communication was outstanding with any needs or questions addressed Almost immediately. Would definitely come back again!

Home cooks will love this house

Nicely appointed house in pleasant and very quiet area of Glendale. Views from the house of the lake were nice, especially at night. Kitchen is very large and stocked with all the equipment you need to cook for a large group, and the gas grill right outside the kitchen door is very convenient as well. Plenty of space outdoors for a large group and the pool is fun and well-heated--good for cool desert mornings! We wished it were a little closer to some of the activities we did, such as Phoenix Zoo, spring training game at Camelback, mini golf, but that's more a function of Pheonix sprawl than the house's location per se. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable visit. Recommend highly if you're looking in this area.

Great Indoor Outdoor Space

The stay was great! We really appreciated having a Chefs kitchen with the ability to open up the sliding glass wall to enjoy the indoor/outdoor living. If you like to cook and grill while in close proximity to pool activities this would be the place for you. The location was away from the city enough to enjoy peace and quiet along with great views, but close enough to the city for any other extra curricular activities we wanted to enjoy. The owners were great to communicate with!

Spacious

We hosted our family “Thanksmas” here with our adult kids and four grandchildren staying for 5 days; we had plenty of space. The kitchen was great and the family room has plenty of seating. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably. The outdoor space is great. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the heated pool and rides on the pontoon. Would definitely stay here again. Property manager responded immediately with any needs. I would have one caution if you plan to stay here with toddlers: There are two open staircases and the pools and canal call for diligent supervision.

Great location

Use the boat at your own risk. Power cut out multiple times. Was worried we would be stranded in the canal. Great kitchen for making meals. Very spacious house. Pool was great, unfortunately hot tub was broken. One of the main reasons for the stay. All in all the house worked.

Lovely place to stay.

I rented the house for family to gather and stay. The house and views were amazing along with the amenities. We had a blast, cooked out and even caught and released some fish.
