Our Best VRBO Yet!

This was real luxury. Well-maintained, beautiful furnishings, wonderful views. And great service managed by Filipe, who can get you everything you need. Our family enjoyed both of the pools, but the pool with the waterfall is the best if it's very hot. The beach at Boca isn't much to talk about, but you can get a water taxi to several other beaches to the south that are all great. Sergio's Boat Tours also can take you to a great snorkeling site. The small restaurants in Boca aren't very good. So, please contract with chef Katia at least for all breakfasts and a few dinners. Also, here are a few great nearby restaurants you should try during your stay: 1. Hacienda de Oro at the Botanical Gardens 2. Ocean Grille on the beach at Playa Colomitos 3. Chico's Paradise, near the Botanical Gardens Finally, don't miss these great nearby sites: 1. The Botanical Gardens, one of the best we've visited 2. Fantastic Family Vacation

My family group of 15 had a tremendous stay at this property. The house is beautiful and so spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone. Felipe and Hector, the onsite contacts are great. So helpful that they made things easy. The cleaning staff is awesome. Marta and crew always kept things perfect. The chef service is AMAZING! Alan, the chef, made the best meals and made every meal an event. I can not say strongly enough how great the food was. Louis, the waiter, made it feel like we were in a high end restaurant. The food and service is a shining moment of the vacation. The issues with the house have are. First, the location is different than on the map when booking. The house is in Boca de Tomatlan, which is about 45 min to an hour south of Puerto Vallarta. Second, the main oven in the house were we would need to cook did not work. The refrigerator for the main house did not work and the two small refrigerator added quickly got used up with this large a group. The large accordian doors in the main floor could not be closed. So at night it made the main living/gathering area cold. In the kitchen there were not enough dishes/silverware for a large group that if we decided to eat together it would have not been possible. Also, the kitchen did not come stocked with basics like cooking oil or spices. So if you plan to cook, you need to ask for those things to be provided. Overall, a great stay and my family of 15 had a great vacation.

A huge Villa for private groups or people who don’t mind sharing aL

We rented the whole property for my 40th birthday & had an absolute blast. The Villa is gigantic. There is art around every corner. 3rd floor is the entry and “panorama room.” Great for a couple or a single. 2nd floor is the kitchen, main living and balconies. There are 3 rooms on this floor: One larger with 2 beds, one close to that room for 1-2 people, and another off to itself (the waterfall room) that is also great for 1-2 people. The first floor is the Primary suite. It’s so large, it has two balconies. We loved the open shower. There is also another room on this floor for 1-2 people. So if you book with 3-4 people and want some privacy, this would be the perfect floor for you. On the lower level with the 2 pools, hot tub, workout area, and dance floors, there are 2 rooms off on their own. One larger with a balcony and full kitchen and one single room for 1-2 people. This would also be a great option for 2-4 people who are renting out a portion and want privacy. With the full kitchen, you can be completely separate from other guests other than pools and main areas. If you know what you’re in for, this is a magical place. Unless you rent the entire villa, I do not think children are allowed. It would be more of a laid back, adult, communal stay experience. There is also a casita and a couple of other rooms, I believe. However, we did not need them, so we didn’t see them. What is wonderful about this place is the ability to personalize. Maria & the AM guard, Hector went above and beyond to get us everything we needed. We hired a chef to do a dinner for when we arrived and she also shopped groceries for us for our whole stay. Hector would run errands for us: taxi calls, boat transportation, ice runs, etc. Absolutely anything you can think of you’d want, they’d get it. It’s a short walk down to the Boca De Tomatlán beach/town. There they have a couple of shops, fresh produce, a couple of places to eat and a great place to play with kids in the water without all the hubbub of a large beach. We did have Hector get us a ride on a boat to Las Animas beach. That was a blast and I believe a water taxi is needed to get there. Boca is also an awesome place to catch a boat taxi to see the whales for far cheaper and less time out of your day than a whale watching excursion. We had 10 adults ranging in age from 25-63 and 3 children. Everyone had the best time. You will either want to rent a car or plan for when you’ll go to town, but worth it!

Beautiful home!! We were very well taken care of!! Maria was amazing and the rest of the staff as well!! Great location right next to an amazing little fishing village!! It’s great to be out of the constant hustle and bustle of town!!
